In 1942, When Mahatma Gandhi was preparing for the "Quit India" movement against the British Government. At the same time, our forefathers started the "Darji Jodo Abhiyan" issue in Mumbai. Exactly four months before the "Quit India Movement" i.e, Vikram Sawant 1998 Phagan Vad Chhath , Dated. 8th March- 1947 (Sunday) “Shri Darji Jati Seva Mandal” was formally started.
